Join in to help and learn at one of our upcoming BioBlitzes. At a BioBlitz, teams of scientists and naturalists will work with the public, discovering and recording the fascinating wildlife that we share our city with; everything from brightly-coloured beetles to seldom-seen bats, from cheeky possums to wonderful water-bugs. We need your help to discover as many living things as possible!

BioBlitz 1: Harry Bowey Reserve, Salisbury Park

Starts: Friday 22nd August – 4pm until late

Continues: Saturday 23rd August – 8 am until noon

BioBlitz 2: Oaklands Wetland, Oaklands Park

Starts: Friday 29th August – 4pm until late

Continues: Saturday 30th August – 8 am until noon

Join us at these hands-on, fun events, designed around making discoveries, sharing talents, igniting interests and recording our fascinating local wildlife.

There is a schedule of activities available online, including surveys of frogs, mammals, water bugs, native plants, weeds, and more. Places are limited on the surveys, so please go to our website to find out more and register: http://www.unisa.edu.au/BioBlitz/

This BioBlitz is part of National Science Week! Come along to a session, or stay for the whole event!
